Tiger Lily Hutchence, full name Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof, has made her modelling debut for sustainable fashion brand House of Khadi.
The campaign marks the 20-year-old’s first official appearance in the public eye – she’s previously kept a low-profile in the press.
Tiger Lily’s life was rocked with tragedy from an early age. Her dad, INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, passed away from a suspected suicide when she was a baby and her late mother, Paula Yates died from an accidental heroin overdose.
She was just four years old when she became an orphan and was adopted by Sir Bob Geldof, father to her half-sisters Fifi, Peaches and Pixie. Peaches tragically died from a heroin overdose in 2014 in eerily similar circumstances to their mother.
Sir Bob’s philanthropic influence has clearly rubbed off on Tiger Lily as the modelling gig is all for a good cause.
She’s the face of new Kickstarter campaign to build a Fairtrade-registered shirt factory in Southern India.
London-based brand, House Of Khadi, is hoping to raise $17,000 for production costs related to the creation of five shirt designs.
