As one of the original supermodels, Cindy Crawford has for three decades been one of world’s most recognisable faces. And what a face it is.
The iconic model, who turns 50 today, still takes a striking picture – just this year proving she’s still got what it takes while poising alongside fellow supers Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer for Olivier Rousteing’s #BalmainArmy Spring campaign for the house.
So what does the model attribute for her 30+ years reign supreme?
“Fortunately, my brand lined up with who I really am – I’m not secretly smashing up hotel rooms,” Crawford told Net-a-porter last year.
Adding: “Who knew modelling would have got me all the way to 49? I remember thinking at 25 I had 5 years left…”
Cindy joins a growing group of models who are landing giant fashion campaigns in 30s, 40s, 50s and well beyond their expected modelling career expiry dates proving with each appearance that style knows no age.
Here we take a look back at the legendary model’s most iconic covers.
