She’s been known for her on-point fashion choices, but Sophie, Countess of Wessex has still managed to wow us after stepping out in a very stylish ensemble that has a sneaky connection to one of the world’s most stylish women.
Indeed the ever-classy 54-year-old was visiting Dufftown in Scotland alongside her husband Prince Edward when she decided to step out in a gorgeous blue top and skirt.
And while the look in itself was enough to have us ogling with glee, there was another special detail about it that we couldn’t help but notice.
The royal blue ensemble, which featured a high neck and A-line midi skirt was designed by none other than Victoria Beckham – a dear friend and favoured designer of another rather prominent royal – Duchess Meghan.
And what’s more, stylish Sophie’s design drew some major similarities to Meghan’s go-to style – twinning with the best!
The Duchess of Sussex has recently taken to wearing Victoria Beckham designs, opting to wear a navy blue dress and matching overcoat designed by the British fashion maven for Christmas Day.
Her navy blue look on Christmas Day was similar to the design worn by Sophie in that it featured a midi length skirt, not to mention the fact it was undeniably chic!
A few months later, Meghan opted to wear a white printed creation by the same designer for Commonwealth Day – this time, it featured a white overcoat, much like the coat worn by Sophie this week.
We’re loving the matching silhouettes these ladies are donning – they’re proving VB’s iconic designs are very versatile!
Sophie is fast proving she’s a fashion-force to be reckoned with.
During her visit to Scotland, Sophie also wowed onlookers when she stepped out in a gorgeous pastel pink dress and white coat.
Featuring a gorgeous velvet trim and pairing the dress with mustard Penelope Chilvers shoes, the stunning royal’s look was all kinds of chic as she met with locals in Forfar.
Sophie and her husband Prince Edward have clearly had an amazing time during their visit to Scotland by mixing with locals and attending various colourful engagements.
On Tuesday, the pair tried their hands at stitching a kilt, as well as tasting some of the region’s famous whisky.
Sounds like a great way to make the most of their surroundings!
