Crown Princess Mary knows a thing or two about fashion, so it really didn’t come as a surprise when this week, she stepped out in what we can only describe as the perfect pink dress.
Attending an architecture and sustainability summit in Copenhagen, the Aussie-turned-Danish-royal was the image of summery chic as she stepped out for the days’ events – and there was no denying her post-holiday glow.
The summit, which translates loosely in English as the Build Back Better Summit, was held to inform and spread awareness about reconstruction processes after major disasters.
Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was all the more poignant, and with Mary’s presence, it was further propelled into the spotlight as details from the day were shared via the Danish Palace’s main Instagram account.
Of course, one can’t scroll through their feed without stopping to take notice of Mary’s outfit.
The Princess wore a beautiful pale pink midi dress, which featured short, ruched sleeves and a flowing skirt with a tie at the waist.
She also added an edgy touch with a pair of pumps with a snakeskin print.
She finished the look with simple jewellery, a beige clutch and swept her hair back in a low pony tail.
There’s a reason Mary had that undeniable glow.
The Princess has just enjoyed a summer vacation with her young family and husband, Crown Prince Frederik.
Sharing a rare set of snaps from their break, the Palace released a statement from the refreshed royals earlier this week.
“Another summer went by,” the post read.
“All six of us enjoyed it around Denmark, and here on this year’s last summer day we send a late summer greeting.”
In the gorgeous images, the family are seen walking around the idyllic Palace grounds.
With our own summer to come, we can’t help but take some fashion cues from Mary’s wardrobe – so we happily embarked on the task of recreating her pink look ourselves.
