Melania Trump has spent her UK visit channelling all kinds of royal affiliates through her bold fashion choices.
There was a nod to Princess Diana’s statement hat accessory, a connection with Meghan Markle’s wedding dress designer.
Now, she’s reached what could quite possibly be described as peak twinning as she stepped out wearing something another high-brow Brit was wearing at the same time.
And this time, it wasn’t a royal she was channelling.
Nope, in a moment that will likely bring a smile to your dial, it looks like Melania had a twinning moment with none other than exiting British PM, Teresa May.
Yep, you read that right. As she stepped out for the 75th anniversary commemoration of the D-Day landings, Melania once again looked striking in a cream coat designed by The Row.
Her slanted hat, made by Kate-and-Meghan approved Philip Treacy was also thoroughly royally appropriate.
Only, there was one detail about said hat that was rather familiar at the time…
Indeed Theresa May also opted to wear a white slanted hat – with hers featuring mesh detailing.
The moment was a sight to behold when seeing the two powerful women pictured together.
In fact, they almost looked to bookend the other guests of honour – Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth and Donald Trump himself.
The day itself didn’t come without some other key fashion moments.
Stepping out in a stunning bright pink ensemble, the Queen looked as radiant as ever – but during the ceremony, she thrilled us even more by adding a particular accessory that we couldn’t help by revel in.
Yep, it must have been a bright day because Her Majesty whacked on a pair of smart sunglasses, which added a little more glam to her outfit.
Trump’s visit to the UK has been filled with fashionable moments – especially where the First Lady is concerned.
In her first outfit after touching down in the UK, Melania’s white and navy blue Dolce & Gabanna ensemble turned heads for its clean and chic aesthetic – very much fit for a royal.
The following day, Melania’s stunning red capped dress also got people talking when it was revealed its designer was none other than Clare Waight Keller at Givenchy, who was the very same designer to create Meghan Markle’s coveted wedding dress.
Whether Melania’s twinning moments with the prominent were on purpose or not remains to be seen.
But as for Teresa May’s? We’re going to safely assume that one was down to pure coincidence.
