Lisa Wilkinson is a smart, successful career woman; she also happens to be someone who knows a thing or two about dressing like a pro.
Yes, we know it might seem a little puerile to comment on such a lauded journalist’s wardrobe but, the woman hardly ever puts a well-heeled foot wrong when it comes to style and we feel like we need to give credit where credit is due.
So when the TODAY host took to Instagram this week to show off one of the outfit’s from The Weekly’s EXCLUSIVE December issue shoot at her home we were thrilled – and it seems so were her fans who fell in love with the SABA dress she was wearing.
To the delight of many (seriously the picture has notched up thousands of likes on social media) The Weekly’s style director, Mattie Cronan teamed Lisa’s elegant burgundy dress (RRP: $329) with Christie Nicolaides earrings and a pop of coral nail colour on her toes. And the compliments came flooding in…
One user commented: “Simply timeless beauty.”
Another chimed in: “Lisa you look better with age. Keep doing whatever it is that you’re doing.”
And another long-time fan said what we were all thinking – that Lisa’s style is just the cherry on top of a wonderfully successful career:
“Ever since reading Dolly as a teenager I have admired you and followed your career. Loved the story in the Women’s Weekly and the clothes you wore.”
We couldn’t agree more!
For more Lisa style inspo here are some of her favourite looks of late. WARNING: Style envy ahead…
