Fashion icon, Carla Zampatti, gave us the first glimpse of spring with her 50th anniversary collection at the Sydney Opera House today, shown before a host of Australian stars.
Delta Goodrem, Kate Waterhouse, Marta Dusseldorp, Ita Buttrose and Shanina Shaik were among the attendees, as well as TV stars, Jessica Rowe and Natalie Barr.
The show opened in true Zampatti style with sunshine yellow stripes and florals, black tailoring, layered silhouettes, white sporty fabrics, silver billowing gowns, sheer appliqué lace, monochromatic lace touches, flashes of “Indian Pink” and “Electric Blue”, all accessorised with “Indian Pink” heels.
The collection also featured exquisite headpieces by milliners, Hatmaker, in bright pink and electric blue. The crowd was also serenaded by a quiet quintet, headed by singer-songwriter, Paul Mac.
