Ellie Goulding’s wedding was one for the ages – that much has been made patently clear as new revelations about the extravagant event roll in by the minute.
The latest of these? Only two more key outfits worn by Ellie to celebrate her nuptials to long-time partner, Caspar Jopling.
The Starry Eyed singer first had us spellbound when she stepped out at her York wedding in a stunning bespoke Chloé bridal gown, which featured a beautiful high neckline and was hand-embroidered.
Featuring White Roses of York and glass beads, Ellie’s ceremony dress was utterly divine, and will undoubtedly go down as one of our favourite bridal looks of the decade (up there with Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s, of course!)
Next came the revelation that Ellie had worn another stunning bridal look, created by British legend Stella McCartney, during her reception.
The off-shoulder design was simple and flattering and featured a thigh-high slit, which added an edge to the dazzling look.
The dress was first revealed by musician Serpentwithfeet, who performed at Ellie and Caspar’s reception and shared a candid pic of the pair together.
Ellie then shared a beautiful snap of herself and her new husband to her Instagram story, giving us a good and proper look at the design.
Frankly, we can’t stop staring!
Now, many of us would be absolutely chuffed to stop at two, stunning designer dresses.
But for Ellie Goulding, it appears there was plenty more fun to be had when it came to her wedding day outfits.
In new pictures published by Harper’s BAZAAR UK, the singer is seen in two more bridal looks, worn during her post-ceremony celebrations.
Ellie’s third look was a beaded design, which was reportedly created by Ralph & Russo, according to Hello!.
The gorgeous dress featured a beaded upper bodice, with sleeves that fell loosely to her elbows. The blonde singer also wore a stunning matching beaded headband.
Talk about sticking with all the current trends – Ellie is channeling many stylish ladies who have rocked the headband look of late – Kate Middleton for one!
For her fourth look, Ellie opted for a mini-dress.
The silhouette was all kinds of stunning – it featured a fitted bodice with the addition of sheer circular puff sleeve’s, giving the overall look an angelic feel.
The dress in question was designed by Balmain, of whom Ellie raved about in an interview before her wedding.
“Balmain have also been so generous with their time. Olivier [Rousteing – creative director] has made me the most fun dress to dance the night away in,” she told Vogue in the interview.
“I don’t want to give too much away but each look is so unique and I can’t thank the designers and houses enough for being a part of the day,” she gushed.
We can’t help but be grateful for them too – Ellie’s wedding has officially given us all the style inspiration we never knew we needed!
The singer songstress’s nuptials have been celebrated by the masses since they took place on August 31.
Indeed many have likened it to that of a royal wedding, with the York location’s street being lined with adoring onlookers as Ellie drove in by car.
The singer also gave a regal wave captured by cameras as she walked into the church.
Oh and did we mention there were actual members of the royal family there?
It’s no wonder she went all out on the dress front – she’s right up there with Kate and Meghan!
