The internet has launched another witch hunt against Delta Goodrem, this time for her fashion choices on The Voice. While judging last night’s show, the controversial judge wore a silk Con Ilio burgundy dress with keyhole cutout that had viewers squawking on social media about how much skin she was showing.
^ The offending dress.
This isn’t the first time Delta has been taken to town over her styling decisions. Earlier in this season of The Voice viewers felt the need to critique this Philippa Galasso number which she wore.
In fact Delta, who’s been a judge on the show since 2012 (except for 2014 when fellow Aussie Kylie Minogue took her spinning chair) is constantly at the centre of hate for what she wears while her fellow judges remain relatively unscathed. At the 2013 Grand Finale of the show Delts performed her then-new single Heart Hypnotic and even way back then, copped it for this mullet dress (which to be fair, was very on trend at the time).
Even when she’s not on The Voice, she’s harshly judged for her wardrobe choices – such as this scarlet gown which she wore to the 2017 Logies.
Considering this type of hate and constant judgement has been going on for bang on four solid years, can’t we all agree to just give it a rest now?
