In January of 2023, Skye took to her Instagram to share that she and her partner of six years had encountered a brief split and were “co-parenting”.

This split was brief however, with the social media personality revealing: “Obviously, I don’t think he liked it. We like being together as a family. But I feel like for us, we just needed a break. Just a little break.”

“I didn’t want to be away from the kids for as long as we were away from each other. So we just co-parented for the period of the break. Hopefully that makes sense.”

Earlier this year, she shared that the pair took part in couples’ counselling, which she “loved”.

Skye Wheatley on being an influencer

Despite being labelled the “Mega Influencer”, an interview with 10 prior to entering the jungle, Skye shared her disdain for the ‘influencer’ label.

“I hate the term influencer. And they do have a bad rep! Most of them are a***holes. Literally, I can’t deal,” she said.

In spite of this, the 30-year-old remains a well-liked social media personality, having amassed over 600 000 followers on Instagram alone. Recently, she has branched out into other ventures include selling fitness plans and launching a workout clothing brand called Good People Apparel with fellow public figure Tori de Jong.
