Earlier today it was revealed that the cast of the US comedy series Young Sheldon, the spin-off prequel to The Big Bang Theory, will be making the trip down under to attend as special guests at this year’s Logies.

For the very first time, 10-year-old Iain Armitage, who plays comical child prodigy Sheldon Cooper, will be joined by Zoe Perry (his patient on-screen mum, Mary Cooper), Lance Barber (his loveable dad George Cooper Sr.) and mischievous siblings 16-year-old Montana Jordan (George Cooper Jnr.) and 11-year-old Raegan Revord (Missy Cooper) at the most prestigious night on the Australian entertainment calendar.

“This is such wonderful news for this year’s TV WEEK Logie Awards,” says TV WEEK Editor Thomas Woodgate.

“I’m so excited to welcome the cast of Young Sheldon to TV’s night of nights at The Star Gold Coast in Queensland’s gorgeous Gold Coast. I know that they will all bring a lot of star power to TV’s biggest and best awards show and I can’t wait to see them all strutting the red carpet on June 30.”
