Congratulations are in order for Winners and Losers star Melanie Vallejo; the actress has welcomed her first child – a baby boy.
The 36 year-old uploaded a picture of her new bub to Instagram, and revealed that she and husband Matt Kingston welcomed little Sonny a week earlier than expected.
“Meet Sonny Kingston! After surprising us by arriving a week early, we’ve been busy getting to know each other… He’s a little legend,” she wrote, alongside an image of her cuddling her new bundle of joy.
She may be an acting sensation, but Melissa has described her venture into motherhood as her “most exciting role yet”.
The 36-year-old has spoken in the past of her plans to have children with her advertising exec husband of five years.

“I don’t think I ever had a proper conversation with Matt, I think we both just knew enough of each other to know we both wanted kids”, she told the Herald Sun.
“We didn’t ever have to sit down and go, ‘How many kids would you like?’ But yeah, I think that’s on the cards, I guess. I’ve always imagined kids, and being a mum.”
Congratulations, you two! We can’t wait to get to know your adorable little one.
