Gold Logie nominee Waleed Aly has arrived on the TV WEEK Logie Awards red carpet, looking as dapper as ever.
And while he’s up for a second Gold Logie, it’s a chance for him to reminisce about the show that made him famous – The Project.
Now in its tenth year, Waleed has certainly interviewed his fair share of people since joining the team in 2015, but it was one particular furry character that would be his most memorable.
During a chat with TV WEEK on the red carpet, Waleed divulged who his favourite interview subject was.
“I’ve often said that one of my favourite things I get to do on the show is interview Elmo,” The Project co-host said.
“Everyone else who works on the show seems to have done it a lot of times, but I’d never done it and when he walked in, I was blown away.”
