We’re half way into the year and already we’ve said good bye to many of our favourite series for good.

From The Vampire Diaries to Pretty Little Liars, we look back on the show’s we’ve farewelled in 2017.

Bones:

Bones began back in 2005 and ran for 12 seasons. The American crime procedural followed the lives of FBI Special Agent Booth (David Boreanaz) and Dr Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel). See Bones and Booth’s most romantic moments here.

The Vampire Diaries:

For eight seasons we watched the immortal Salvatore brothers Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) fight over the love of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev).

Pretty Little Liars:

After seven long seasons this year we FINALLY found out the identity of “A”. After all that stalking, blackmailing and murdering – we can’t believe that Spencer (Trorian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) managed to survive until the end!

Pretty Little Liars is ending after Season 7

Girls:

Lena Dunham’s Girls premiered in 2012. Over the past six seasons we’ve had a very detailed glimpse into the private and personal lives of four friends Hannah (Lena Dunham), Marnie (Allison Williams) Jessa (Jemima Krike) and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet).

Reign:

If you’re into your period dramas, Reign will be right up your alley. Starring Aussie Adelaide Kane, the series explores the early exploits of Mary Queen of Scots during her time at French Court. You can stream Reign on Stan.

Scream Queens:

Scream Queens was a master of the comedy/horror genre. The series all-star cast included Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Billie Lourd, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Niecy Nash, Glen Powell, Keke Palmer, Olivia Palmer, John Stamos and Taylor Lautner to name a few!

New look Scream Queens

2 Broke Girls:

This series followed the adventures of Max Black (Kat Dennings) and Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs) as they word in a diner while attempting to raise money to start their own cupcake business.

Bloodline:

This highly-acclaimed Netflix thriller starred Aussie Ben Mendelsohn and Kyle Chandler (that’s Coach Taylor from Friday Night Light’s guys!). All three series are available to stream on Netflix.

The Get Down:

The hip-hop drama set in the Bronx in the late 1970s cost $120 million to produce. The first half of the season premiered in 2016, the second half dropped on Netflix in April this year. There were hopes of a second season, however earlier this year director Baz Luhrmann confirmed that it wouldn’t be going ahead.

The Leftovers:

What happens when 140 million people just disappear? This is the premise of The Leftovers, a thriller starring Justin Theroux, Amy Brennemam and Liv Tyler.
