The Wrong Girl is back!
Season two of the series is set to pick up six months after season one. Lily (Jessica Marais) and Jack (Rob Collins) have been living in New Zealand together. But Lily makes the decision to return to Melbourne in order to try and save her old show, The Breakfast Bar, from cancellation.
This time around, we can expect to see many familiar faces, as well as a few fresh ones!
Get to know the cast of season two below.
Jessica Marais as Lily Woodward: In season one Lily was working as a producer on the morning show The Breakfast Bar. For the last six months she’s been living in New Zealand with her now boyfriend Jack (Rob Collins), who she met on the show.
Rob Collins as Jack: Jack joined The Breakfast Bar as the celebrity chef, but he quickly found out that morning TV wasn’t for him. He dated Lily’s housemate Simone (Hayley Magnus) before realising he had feelings for Lily – who he is now in a relationship with.
Ian Meadows as Pete: Pete is Lily’s best friend. Lily and Pete have a one night stand in season one, before Pete reveals he’s also been seeing a workmate called Meredith. Meredith falls pregnant with Pete’s child.
Leah Vandenberg as Meredith: Meredith is a colleague of Pete and ends up having his child.
Hayley Magnus as Simone: Simone is Lily’s best friend and flatmate. She’s a party girl and her wayward ways can often interfere with Lily’s life.
Madeline West as Erica Jones:Erica co-hosts The Breakfast bar with Eric (Craig McLachlan).
Craig McLachlan as Eric:Eric is the larrikin host of The Breakfast Bar – his workplace behaviour is often highly inappropriate.
Natalie Bassingthwaigte as Gillian: Natalie joins the cast this season as Jack’s ex-girlfriend Gillian. She is also a successful pastry chef.
Steve Vizard and Kerry Armstrong as Anthony and Mimi: Anthony and Mimi are Lily’s parents, they are amicably separated.
Hugo Johnstone-Burt as Vincent: Vincent is Lily’s older brother. He is now a T10 paraplegic after suffering a kitesurfing accident. He hopes to pursue his dreams of studying medicine.
Doris Youane as Sasha: Sasha is Lily’s tough, pragmatic boss. She really cares for Lily professionally and personally and treats her like the daughter she never had.
Thomas Ersatz as Jeremy: Jeremy joins the cast in season two as a new producer on The Breakfast Bar.
Christie Whelan Browne as Nikkii Steadman: Nikkii is a kooky producer on The Breakfast Bar. She might be slightly odd, but she’s knows what will get the good ratings.
David Woods as Dale Collins: David is another workmate of Lily’s from The Breakfast Bar. He dreams of being a war correspondent and gets frustrated with the topics discussed on the show. He likes Lily and thinks she’s the only one with brains on the show.
Cecelia Peters as Alice Felton-Smith: Alice is a junior producer who’s happy to go with the flow. Her ideas for segments are often wacky and rarely make it on air.
