Lily’s professional life is getting more complicated by the minute in The Wrong Girl.
And this week, her new relationship with Jack is ramping up a notch too.
Things are continuing to move at breakneck speed for the couple, who have decided to live together in Jack’s (Rob Collins) new house.
Rumours begin to swirl that the smitten celebrity chef may be about to propose to Lily (Jessica Marais).
But is she really ready to take their fledgling relationship to that level?
“Lily definitely has reservations about commitment,” Jess says of the breakfast TV producer.
“She has always had to be able to adapt very quickly. And I think the idea of solid commitment freaks her out a little bit. But I think a life with Jack is very enticing. He represents a beautiful future.”
But is it the right time?
Her love life isn’t made any easier by the appearance of Jack’s ex, Gillian (Natalie Bassingthwaighte).
She’s set to cause all sorts of strife down the track as she ingratiates herself with Jack.
Meanwhile, Pete (Ian Meadows) has taken up an offer to work at The Breakfast Bar.
As well as working on new projects, he’s now personal assistant to an increasingly diva-like Nikkii (Christie Whelan Browne).
She was brought in to replace Erica as the show’s “hate sponge” in last week’s episode.
It’s a case of worlds colliding, as Lily now has to navigate her personal relationship with Pete, and their shared romantic history, while trying to keep things professional at work.
Yep, things are about to get a whole lot more awkward in Lily’s world. We can’t wait!
