Just days before he wowed the judges during his blind audition on The Voice, Julian Simonz was getting ready for his biggest performance yet.
The 28-year-old, who nailed Justin Timberlake’s hit song ‘Suit and Tie’ resulting in all four judges turning their chairs, married his longtime girlfriend Nelu, also 28, in a Melbourne ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
On the day of his wedding, Julian decided to kick up the romance by wooing his blushing bride with a memorable serenade, singing her favourite song ‘All of Me’ by John Legend and bringing her to tears.
“I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room,” Nelu said.
When Woman’s Day heard that the happy couple, who met when they were babies, had called off their romantic Maldives honeymoon so Julian could follow his dreams on The Voice, we offered to send the pair to the Beach Club resort on Hamilton Island.
“This place is just perfect,” Julian said.
“Hamilton Island is paradise.”
“This whole holiday has been lovely,” Nelu said.
