Wentworth and Offspring fans hold onto your hats because the new Prime Video television series The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is officially here and it’s bound to give you a nostalgia hit.
Based on Holly Ringland’s best-selling debut novel, the series tells the emotional story of Alice Hart who tragically lost her parents at just 9-years-old in a mysterious fire.
At a young age, Alice is taken to live with her grandmother, June at Thornfield flower farm where she discovers secrets within secrets involving her and her family’s past. The storyline spans decades and eventually we will se Alice fight for her life against a man she loves…
So, who has been casted to feature in this seven-part series set in Australia?
AACTA 2022 Best Lead Actress winner Leah Purcell, more commonly known as Rita Connors in Wentworth will star in the series.
Alongside Gold Logie and AACTA award winner Asher Keddie, who starred in Seven’s drama series Offspring.
Other cast members include: BAFTA and Golden Globe-winning actress Sigourney Weaver; Saint X star Alycia Debnam-Carey; The Expanse Frankie Adams; How to Please a Woman Alexander England; The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power star Charlie Vickers; I Am Woman’s Tilda Cobham-Hervey; Nine Perfect Strangers’ Alyla Browne; Elvis‘ Xavier Samuel and Sebastian Zurita.
Three episodes of The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart release on August 4, 2023, with one episode rolling out weekly until the series finale on September 1.
