They took out the top spot on The Block in 2016 and banked themselves a massive $815,000 in winnings so it’s no surprise that Will Bethune and Karlie Cicero have said they’d make a comeback.
Fan favourites of the reality renovation show’s 12th season, Will and Karlie were the high-school sweethearts who stole our hearts and the title with their gorgeous ground floor apartment in the heritage art deco building.
While Karlie seems reluctant to relive the sleep deprivation guaranteed as a side effect of the show, partner Will told The Daily Telegraph he “would do it again in a heartbeat.”
After remaining friends with style queens and runners up of the season, Sasha and Julia, a partner swap could be on the cards according to Will.
“’We actually met up with Julia and Sasha a couple of weeks ago and spoke about it and the possibility of me teaming up with one of them.”

Over the past year Will and Karlie have put their winnings to good use, with a dream wedding, a honeymoon and even a second house they plan on renovating. Meanwhile renovation superstars, Sasha and Julia, sold their own home to The Bachelor’s Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski.
The team mash-up could be a dominating force if a comeback were in the cards.
In the past 13 seasons of the reno show, we’ve seen only two seasons – Fans V Faves and All Stars – give past pairs the chance to return, the last of which was 2014. Surely the TV Gods (or host Scott Cam) will hear our prayers and grant us another soon.
