Back in August, Wombat admitted with his failed marriage well and truly behind him, his eyes were set on find love.

“There might be something in the pipeline,” the 38-year-old hinted to TV WEEK after years of living the single life.

The single dad – whose real name is Clint Price – and his wife separated four years ago. The pair share custody of their seven-year-old son, Jake – who they both home-school.

“While I’m here [on The Block], Jake’s mum has to take everything on and she’s with him 24/7 and has to cover my side of schoolwork.”

It’s a lifestyle he’s had for the past few years since he separated from his former wife.

“I built a big house and put all my money in to it and then started to struggle to pay that back,” he remarked.

“So I don’t really want to get in to that situation again.”

Though, Wombat doesn’t expect his new love to live like him.

“I’m not saying she has to live exactly the way I live,”
he said of his humble abode.

“At least, I’ll do it up a bit. Now that I know how to style from The Block, I’ll be able to set it up a bit better. I might even throw down a few rugs.”

In the past, Wombat has admitted he’d value a partner who shared the same interests as him.

“I look for someone who thinks along the same lines as I do,” he admitted.

“I’m pretty headstrong in terms of the direction in my life, the whole sustainability thing, good living and good food.”
