It’s a Block dust-up unlike any other seen before.

This week on The Block, contestants Ronnie and Georgia find themselves battling neighbours Jason and Sarah and Hannah and Clint over access to their backyard.

The Perth couple needs the other two teams to halt work on their backyard so they can use their yards to crane in their pool.

Jason and Sarah and Hannah and Clint are prepared to allow the access – but only if Ronnie and Georgia will cough up some serious dough.

Up the ‘North’ end of town, Melbourne couple Josh and Elyse is watching on with bemusement at all the drama.

Josh, 28, tells TV WEEK he felt Ronnie and Georgia ended up getting a taste of what they had dished out to other couples.

“I mean, it’s a competition and they’ve made it pretty clear throughout the whole competition that they’re not here to make friends and they’re here to win the money,” Josh says.

“So they get their own medicine back at them, I guess.”

The size of crane that Ronnie and Georgia needed meant it couldn’t deliver the pool from the other end of the site through Josh and Elyse and Sticks and Wombat’s backyards.

Not that Josh would have allowed it any way!

“No way,” he exclaims.

Instead he’s happy to work at the other end of the block on his backyard with landscaper Dave Franklin.

“We’ve got a clear backyard and we’re rapt,” Josh laughs. “We were pretty happy that all the cameras were down the other end following the drama!”
