Very few people would dispute the fact that Blockhead Josh Barker is one lucky man.
But don’t think that he’ll propose to his stunning girlfriend, model Elyse Knowles, 24, anytime soon!

Those fans hoping for an on-screen proposal or even a TV wedding à la Maxine and Karstan (circa The Block: Glasshouse in 2014) are dreaming, says Josh.
“With us two, it’s definitely not going to happen on a television show,” he reveals of whether he’d ask for Elyse’s hand in marriage in front of the cameras for all to see.

“I think that’s quite cheesy. I’d never do that.”
As for when they’ll make their four-and-a-half year relationship official, Josh says “there’s no rush”.
In fact, if anything, he’s put the brakes on things of late.
“It’s the golden question at the moment, and I say to Elyse every time someone asks [if he’ll propose], ‘I won’t do it,’” jokes the larrikin, 28.
But that’s not to say the couple aren’t in it for the long haul.
“We’ve got goals set for the next three, five, and 10 years,” says Josh.
“We know where we want to be and what we want to do.” How sweet!
