Firstly… Osher is back. Thank the Lord!

Elise, Simone, Cobie and Jen scored the group date, where they were joined by their parents!

Tapping into their Masterchef the girls had to cook up a feast for lunch.

Elise finally scored some one-on-one time with MJ…

And now we understand why every girl thinks the former Hockeyroo will take out the series.

As Laura aptly explained, “There’s Matty… He’s on a camel!”

Matty decided to take Tara on a second date… On his camel. You can’t make this stuff up.

The pair got even closer… And charming Tara scored a rose and MJ’s sweet lips.

The rose ceremony saw Jen try and show her softer side, with the sassy brunette making a smorgasbord of desserts.

She addressed the topic of no single date, which Matty casually evaded.

Jen, like most cool cats, survived another day (despite Matty admitting he’s friend-zoned her).

Sadly it was time to say goodbye to the South Australian cop, Michelle!

NTL caught up with Michelle Paxton about her time on the dating show.

Michelle says Matty wasn’t for her!

What was going through your mind when you were eliminated?

I remember thinking that I was really looking forward to seeing my family! I had a feeling I was going home that night. I was pretty well prepared.

It sounds like Jen reacted to it really badly

In the house you form some really huge connections with the girls and when you see a friend go it is really heartbreaking.

I think Jen and I were there for each other – and when I left she just didn’t expect it. I was telling her all night I had a feeling I was going but she just didn’t see it coming.

The poor dear was just bawling her eyes out that whole ceremony. I just said to her, ‘Pull your shit together Jen! I’m not dying.’

But it was hard.

Was Matty the guy for you?

Matty has a lot of amazing qualities. When you’re in his presence he just makes you feel so calm and relaxed, which I really like.

But for me personally, I need a guy that is extremely strong and willing to pick me up and challenge me as I can be quite fiery. Someone who can be a support.

I think he may have missed some key qualities for me.

You received the first impression rose – did you feel like you and Matty just needed more time?

I think when you first meet someone you know if there is a connection there. We were both intrigued by something – but it wasn’t enough for him to want to spend a whole day with me.

He gets very limited time and there are so many girls so he has to be extremely selective.

How did you feel about not ever getting a single date with Matty

It is heartbreaking. We did get a lot of time together that wasn’t aired, but we never had a date.

The pair had some major chemistry in the first episode, scoring the police officer the first impression rose.

What was it like in the house when Elora got a second date over the rest of the girls?

It’s strange. It seemed like Matty spent time with girls he was questioning if they had a connection. So when Elora got that second date I wasn’t happy but I thought maybe he was sussing her out to see if there was anything.

It is hard to be in that house week after week and not get a date.

Did you enjoy your time in the house?

It is such a unique experience, nothing can prepare you.

You’re cut from the outside so it is different. I loved waking up every morning to all the girls. Overall it was so much fun.

Is it fiery as it seems?

When you live with so many people and you have no privacy, there’s going to be arguments. All those personalities in the one house are going to create some tension at times.

It is human nature.

Who were you closest to in the house?

Jen and I were really close.

I really liked Sharlene, we would always have great morning chats and I was also close to Natalie, who was also from South Australia.

Michelle loved her time on the show

Do you have any regrets?

No regrets at all!

Who do you think will win?

Elise! If Matty gets an opportunity to spend time with her he might be in some real trouble.

Are you still single?

I’m not seeing anyone. I’ve had dating offers but most of them are from crazy people.

What’s next for you? Back to work? Do you think people will recognise you?

I’m back at work, which I love.

The other day I was at job and there was about three police and this lady who lived on the street drove her car to ask a general question and then she looked at me and was like ‘Hey! How are you?’

I had to stop for a second and think if I actually knew her – but she recognised me from the show.

Would you recommend people to do the Bachelor

If you’re confident within yourself then it is a great opportunity!
