Just a few years ago, Tony Jofre was a buff personal trainer. A career change to a sedentary job, plus a Mama who loves to feed up her boys, resulted in Tony ballooning up to 130.3kg.
‘I’d forgotten what it felt like to feel proud when I looked at myself,’ says Tony, 27. ‘I didn’t look at myself in the mirror anymore.’ Until the Biggest Loser makeover team worked their magic, that is!
Having slimmed down to an impressive 92.4kg so far, Tony says he now slips easily into a size 32 trouser. ‘I’ve never been a size 32!’ he laughs. Now that Tony’s on the way to getting his life back on track – including returning to being a trainer once he’s done on TBL Families – the next goal is to find love. ‘I haven’t met anyone yet – but I’m open to offers! My confidence before TBL, when it came to women, was shot,’ he admits.
‘Now, Michelle [Bridges] tells me I’m looking like a model! I don’t know about that, but I feel a lot better in myself.’
