Millionaire pub owner Stu Laundy ticks all the boxes.
Smart, funny, successful businessman; no wonder he’s a hot favourite to win Sophie Monk’s heart on The Bachelorette.
But when asked what his proudest achievement is to date, he replies with no hesitation.

With four children from his previous marriage and being very open to the idea of having more, Stu has gone on the show searching for someone to love him and his kids.

And the 44-year-old can totally see Sophie being that person in his future.
“She’d make a great stepmum,” Stu told Woman’s Day. “She’s open about wanting kids and mine are pretty amazing.”
Not a biased Dad at all, right Stu?
In an OK! exclusive, Stu admits that even his daughters have given his relationship with Sophie the green light!
“They know my heart is in the right place,” he shares.
After their first meeting, Stu says Sophie’s “sense of humour” drew him in and intrigued him enough to invite her on that infamous yacht date… where she stood him up. Poor Stu!
Stu Laundy may be looking for love on The Bachelorette, but he’s also looking for someone who will love his children just as much as he does.
Since entering the show as an intruder who made quite the entrance – coming off a chopper with bubbly – Stu and Sophie seem to have a lot in common.
So much so that it wasn’t long before he scored his own single date! “We both have a sense of humour and love having fun,” Stu tells OK!.
As he spends his downtime in the house, missing his kids and “the freedom to grab a bite to eat” with friends, we’re crossing our fingers so hard that Stu makes it to hometown dates. Just so we can watch Sophie being the coolest stepmum ever with Stu’s daughters.
