Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski may be reality TV’s golden couple, but, as it turns out, we shouldn’t expect to tune into their fairytale wedding anytime soon.
Sam, 36, has revealed that he and his bride-to-be have no plans to film their nuptials for our entertainment. In fact, they’ve already turned down offers for their very own Bachie Wedding TV special.
“I’m not averse to going back on TV,” he told the Daily Mail Australia on Thursday. “I’m just averse to losing control over such a special day.”
He added: “It’s one of those things that you can’t have your cake and eat it too. You can’t say yes to it and think you’re gonna be able to do it the way you want to do it – at least fully.”
The fitness guru explained that the couple’s past experiences with television actually clinched their choice.
“Through being on TV, that’s one of the things you learn – you’ve kinda gotta toe the line a little bit. And neither of us wanted that,” he said.”This is our special day, we don’t want it to be jolted around be the fact that it’s on TV. TV’s hard.”
There’s no word yet on when the duo’s much-anticipated wedding will take place.
On Mother’s Day, Sam and Snezana, 35, made a very funny social media announcement they were expecting their first child together.
In a hilarious shot, Snez – with her gorgeous baby bump on full display – can be seen with pasta all over her white T-shirt as her partner laughs at her.
But the reality TV couple, who became engaged in December 2015, weren’t content with one exciting announcement and just a few hours later, they revealed the gender of their baby – a little girl!
“Happiness does not do it justice. What better day to announce that it will soon be me and my 3 girls! #BetterBuildAManCave,” Sam penned.
When Now To Love caught up with the fitness trainer back in April, he admitted he couldn’t wait to become a dad and that their wedding may have been put on the back-burner for now.
In light of their beautiful baby news, it’s no wonder why!
“We don’t actually have a date yet so it isn’t as close as people think it may be.”
“We were going to do it in the middle of this year but it was all happening a bit too fast. We wanted to give people the right amount of notice. We’re cooling our jets a bit,” Sam hinted of their nuptials in April.
As for how Snez’s daughter Eve from a previous relationship will be as a big sister, the 28 by Sam Wood author has no doubt she’ll be a pro.
“Eve wants a brother or a sister for sure. She always has actually. She’d be the first one pushing us for it,” Sam told us at the time.
