Sam Wood — ex-Bachelor, fitness powerhouse and proud dad-of-two — can add an extra bullet point to his already impressive list of skills: Cheeseburger Getter.
Speaking with KIIS FM’s Hughsey and Kate on Thursday, the former reality TV star revealed that he took his fiancée Snezana Markoski on a Macca’s run during labour.
Yes, you read that correctly. What a champion. Both of them.
“If your wife is in labour and she wants a cheeseburger then you get her a cheeseburger,” he told the radio duo.
“So we went across the road, grabbed some Maccas, came back across the road and the obstetrician said, ‘Oh, you’re not going home tonight! You’re five centimetres dilated, you’re having the baby tonight’.”
He added: “So one minute we’re eating Maccas and watching The Block and about two hours later it was all happening and my life will never be the same again.”
And the rest, as they say, is history…
The couple confirmed their wonderful news in a private Facebook group called 28 by Sam Wood Member Community, choosing to share a beautiful clip of their new daughter — Willow Wendy Wood.
“I have fallen in love with most perfect little girl and fallen further in love the most beautiful Mum,” Sam says in the video. “I also haven’t been able to stop crying.”
A few hours later, the proud papa uploaded a beautiful black and white snap of the new arrival sleeping peacefully in his arms.
“Willow Wendy Wood you make our hearts explode. Mumma you were amazing and I love you more than ever. Eve, you look so natural holding your little sister. Dad – stop crying Willow you are simply perfect,” the 205 Bachelor penned.
Sitting on their rightful throne as the king and queen of reality TV romances, Snezana and Sam first shared that they were expecting a child together on Mother’s Day back in May.
Snez, already the proud mum to her daughter 12-year-old Eve, posted a stunning photo of them, penning, “We’re so excited to be able to let the world know that our little family of 3 is soon to become 4.”

Sam left the sentimental post to his future wife, opting to go down a funnier route.
The trainer uploaded a stunning yet hilarious photo of Snez — with her gorgeous baby bump on full display. The very pregnant mum was rocking a white tee which happened to be smothered with pasta, as her partner laughed at her.
“Snez ……….. a) has just eaten a bowl of pasta bigger than her head b) can’t do up her pants c) is having a BABY!!! d) all of the above #theanswerisd #happymothersday #soexcited,” Sam penned.
Congratulations again! We couldn’t be happier for you guys and can’t wait to watch Australia’s first-ever Bachie baby grow up.
