Bachelorette Sam reveals she’s doing everything in her power to see her number three man become the next Bachelor. ‘I will pull every string that I possibly can to make sure that Richie is the next Bachelor,’ she tells OK!.
She clearly thinks he is prime for the position. ‘He is such a humble, intelligent, beautiful, gorgeous man and he deserves to shine in front of Australia,’ she adds.
And not any girl will do for the 30-year-old Perth rope access technician – Sam says not even her girlfriends would make the cut!
‘I don’t know if any of my friends are good enough for Richie,’ she admits to OK!.
‘He deserves the absolute best and I really do mean that.’
On potentially walking in previous Bachelor Tim Robards, Blake Garvey and Sam Wood’s footsteps, Richie said he’d have to give it some thought.
‘I’ve got so much to process now that it’s all come to an end,’ he said. ‘I don’t know if I’m going to be ready for something like [The Bachelor]. I really would have to put a lot of thought into it.’
After his on-screen exit from the mansion last night, Richie sent thanks to his loyal supporters via Instagram.
‘So grateful to have had the opportunity to meet this wonderful lady @fro01 [Sam] made the right decision and I wish her so much happiness with her love. All the guys from bacheloretteau2015 are top blokes and we will always be best mates. Good luck @michael.d.turnbull and @sash1313. I am looking forward to new opportunities. Cheers for all of your support. #coolbananas’
In the meantime, will it be Sasha or Michael who wins Sam’s heart?
