Real Housewives of Melbourne star Pettifleur Berenger is facing a mega-bucks legal battle after being threatened with a law suit over the title of her new book, Switch The Bitch.
The miffed party in question is Omarosa Manigault – aka one of Donald Trump’s protégés from the first season of The Apprentice – who released her own book titled The Bitch Switch: Knowing How To Turn It On and Off, in 2008.
According to TMZ.com, lawyers for Omarosa have sent a cease-and-desist letter to Pettifleur and are threatening to sue her $189,502 for each violation of copyright
However, the outspoken housewife revealed on last week’s RHOM reunion show that she’s not worried.
“Yes, I knew about the other book, and I’m not concerned about being sued, because it’s content you can’t copy, not a title,” she argued.
Although, barrister and fellow Housewives star Gina Liano, warned her otherwise.
“There’s a book that has a very similar title, to me it looked like a bit of plagiarism,” she said.
“It’s completely different, I don’t care,” retorted Pettifleur. “It’s how I strengthened myself for the position I am in.”
