Last week, Revenge stars Emily VanCamp, 31, and Josh Bowman, 29, announced their engagement.
The couple played husband and wife onscreen as Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson in the popular drama series.
We certainly hope their off-screen marriage suffers less cheating, shooting and general drama than their on-screen nuptials!
After posting an image of her ring on Instagram, the notoriously private Captain America: Civil War star opened up to People about her engagement.
“It’s literally only been a couple of days, but it’s amazing,” she said. “I’m really happy!”
She also spilled the details to ET admitting that Josh “did good” when it came to popping the question.
“It was in a forest,” she revealed. “We were in nature on a hike kind of doing what we do, it was very, sort of, us. So yeah, it was great, beautiful.”
Sounds very romantic if you ask us!
As far as wedding plans, Emily hasn’t got any grand plans at this stage.
“I never was the girl who knew what she wanted to do for a wedding,” she admits. “[I’m] just enjoying this moment… it’s really nice.”
It’s been a particularly exciting time for Emily, whose new series The Resident has just been picked up as a pilot by FOX.
“It’s been a crazy week,” Emily revealed to ET. “I found out about the show two hours after we got engaged so it was, like — I don’t think I slept for three nights. It’s been good, it’s been really positive.”
According to the FOX, The Resident “is a provocative new medical drama that rips back the curtain to reveal the truth of what really happens, both good and bad, in hospitals across the country.”
The series is set to be a little edgier than the average medical drama.
“It definitely has a darker undertone,” Emily confirms. Check out the trailer below.
