Bruce Jenner is cooperating with police following his involvement in a major car crash in LA that has left one person dead and eight others injured.
Bruce, 65, appeared to walk away from the accident physically unharmed, and police are now investigating what caused the crash with reports suggesting he may have been either texting or smoking at the time of the accident.
TMZ reports that police are obtaining search warrants for both the reality star’s phone and phone records.

Police released a statement on Saturday saying, “Bruce Jenner was involved. We don’t know yet in what way he was involved, if he was a passenger or driver.”
It’s believed that Bruce passed a sobriety test, but if police find he was texting while driving, which is illegal in the state of California, he could potentially be up on manslaughter charges.
The accident occurred on a notorious accident black-spot on a stretch of the Pacific Coast highway in Malibu. Photos from the scene of the accident show mangled vehicles lining the road. Of the four cars and eight people involved in the accident, there was one fatality.
The woman who died in the crash, is believed to be 69-year-old Kim Howe – a wealthy Los Angeles widow who owns several properties LA and is possibly known to the Kardashian family as she is a neighbour of Kourtney, Khloe and Robert Kardashian in Calabasas.
It’s not clear if Bruce sustained any sort of injury, although he appeared relatively unscathed. Of the seven other people involved in the accident, it’s believed that all of them sustained some sort of injury, ranging from minor to serious.
TMZ reports that multiple eyewitnesses have said “the accident was caused when Bruce rear ended the white car and that car then went into oncoming traffic and was struck by a Hummer.”

Family sources earlier told TMZ that Bruce was being chased by up to five paparazzi at the time of the accident, but it’s now believed by police that this is not the case.
The crash happened at a time of intense media scrutiny for the reality star and Kardashian patriarch.
The incident occurred on the eve of the premiere of the latest season of Keeping up with the Kardashians, which was believed to address the rumours about Bruce and his reported gender transition, once and for all.
The former Olympic champion is believed to be undergoing a transition, after his mother Esther Jenner, came out and confirmed it last week
“I just learned about [his transition]. Bruce filled me in, and we had a very long, long, long talk about it,” she told Radar Online.

“I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is…I support him whole-heartedly. I just love him like I always have.”
Bruce is yet to speak publicly about his reported transition but is said to be doing a tell-all interview with US TV journalist Diane Sawyer. The reports could also be resolved in the newest season of Keeping up with the Kardashians, premiering this week in the US.
