Hotelier and former Melbourne editor of Harper’s Bazaar Sally Bloomfield is reportedly joining The Real Housewives of Melbourne cast for the upcoming fourth season.
Bloomfield previously owned boutique hotels in South Yarra which she ran with husband Ian Robertson for 11 years.
For the last five years, however, Bloomfield has been living in Bali. Last year, her husband passed away after losing his battle with cancer.
Foxtel is yet to confirm or deny whether Bloomfield will be a part of the new season.
The news of Bloomfield possibly joining the RHOM cast comes after a string of housewives announced their departures.
Last year, before the season three reunion, successful businesswoman Chyka Keebaugh announced she wouldn’t be returning to the series. The original cast member spoke about why she was leaving with the Sunday Herald Sun at the time.
“It’s time for a change,” she said. “I’ve had the most amazing ride and it’s been absolutely wonderful. I feel like I have given as much as I can to the show, and I want to concentrate on other things too. I think it’s good to go out on a high.”
Property developer Pettifleur Berenger also announced she was leaving after three years on the show. The 52-year-old, who has just finished filming Hell’s Kitchen alongside radio host and former Bachelorette Sam Frost, decided to quit in order to focus on her career.
Recently, property stylist Susie McLean (who only joined the series last season) announced she would not be returning to Housewives this year so she can focus on other personal projects.
McLean spoke to The Daily Mail Australia about her exit.
“It’ been an amazing, extraordinary experience, but I have moved on,’ she said.
Looks like big changes are on the horizon!
