Fans have been patiently waiting to see when the Marvel series would return to our screens for another season, and now it seems we finally have some details set in stone.

Season three of the superhero show is set to debut on October 19th, giving anyone who missed the first two seasons plenty of time to catch up before the next instalment.

Although we can’t be certain on what to expect fort the new season, fans suspect that the final scenes of The Defenders (featuring Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist) confirm that Matt Murdock will likely be born again – in reference to the comic book of the same name which was published in the 80’s.

No official confirmation has been given to the full cast line up, but originals Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) are sure to make their return.

Netflix have also released another teaser for the new season, which gives us the feeling the wait has been worth our while.

Mysterious and ominous, the trailer opens to an eerily dark room with a swinging spotlight; underneath is a fully suited up and bloodied Matt Murdock.
