Few Erinsborough residents were happy about the return of cult member Prue (Denise Van Outen). So when they learnt she and Gary (Damien Richardson) were engaged, the reception was subdued.
Gary can’t believe the lack of support from friends and family as Harlow (Jemma Donovan) and Kyle (Chris Milligan) pull out of the wedding. Little does the groom-to-be realise that Prue has lied about leaving her cult, The Order.
When Gary discovers the truth about his future wife, he calls off the wedding and leaves town. We’ve got a runaway groom on our hands!

Paul (Stefan Dennis) decides to intervene and concocts a plan to reunite Jane with her past love, Des (Paul Keane), believing she never truly stopped loving him.
When Paul organises the pair to “run into one another” at Paige and Mark’s wedding, it quickly becomes clear Des never truly let go of his feelings for Jane either.
