Terese and Pierce’s plan for a hostile takeover of Lassiters is falling into place perfectly on Neighbours. Little does she know, however, that Pierce has little interest in the hotel – it’s Chloe he’s after.
After swanning into Erinsborough, the charming businessman Pierce (Tim Robards) quickly caught the eye of young executive Chloe (April Rose Pengilly).
“He’s taken by her ingenuity and approach to things [when they first meet],” Tim, 35, tells TV WEEK.
As their relationship has progressed, walking the line between business and pleasure has proven complicated.
With Pierce’s affection growing, Chloe becomes increasingly overwhelmed. And when he suddenly pulls out a ring, she doesn’t know what to do.
“He sees her business almost as a challenge to get her to fall a bit deeper,” Tim explains. “He wasn’t expecting it, but he realises he has feelings for this girl.”
Chloe secretly wants out of the romance and fears for Terese’s (Rebekah Elmaloglou) takeover plans.
It’s not long before Chloe’s concerns are confirmed. Pierce reveals he has no interest in the hotel – without her, he’ll drop the deal. Will Chloe accept the ring or wreck Terese’s plans?
Tim, who first found fame on The Bachelor Australia, says he’s been enjoying his first foray in to acting as Pierce.
“I’ve really enjoyed exploring the character, Pierce Greyson has a number layers to him so he is really interesting to play for sure,” says Tim.
“He is a hybrid of a Harvey Specter, sprinkle of Christian Grey and little bit of Robert Redford so it’s been great fun to explore.”
Neighbours airs weeknights, 6pm, on 10 Peach.
