Neighbours character Stingray is all grown up

Ben Nicholas has come a long way from his skater boy days on Ramsay Street.

While you might not recognise him now, this handsome face was once the mischievous teen of Erinsborough.

Scott ‘Stingray’ Timmins first appeared on Neighbours way back in 2004. Played by actor Ben Nicholas, the rebellious skater boy made quite the entrance where he was arrested for streaking across a football pitch. Soon after, viewers learnt his was Toadie’s cousin.

Stingray’s larrikin behaviour spanned across three years until his character sadly passed away at a party in 2007. His ashes were scattered across his favourite skate park. It remains one of the saddest scenes to date.

10 years later, Ben Nicholas looks vastly different from his days on Ramsay Street. The 29-year-old is still in the entertainment industry currently working on the ABC program Footballer Wants A Wife.

Ben also looks to be back on his old stomping ground in a director’s role for Neighbours. While it’s unlikely we’ll see Ben back in front of the camera, we’re still holding out hope that his character can come back from the dead. If Dee (Madeleine West) can do it, why not Stingray?

In the meantime, we’ll settle for Ben giving us the nostalgic feels in his old Stingray attire. Ah, those were the days…
