Andrea is back on Neighbours again and, to no-one’s surprise, is already causing trouble!
Learning Mark has tracked down Andrea (Madeleine West), Shane (Nicholas Coghlan) pays her a visit. But his plan goes awry.
Fans may recall Andrea previously revealed a strange encounter she had with a mysterious man at Hobart’s Salamanca Markets who mistook her for a woman named “Karen”.
The revelation led Shane to wonder if Karen was Dee, alive and with a new identity.
However, when he reaches Andrea and questions her about the run-in, her memory is hazy. With Shane holding onto hope that Dee may be out there, and Andrea wanting to atone for her past, the pair agree to investigate further.
Andrea, however, has one condition: she wants to see her child, Hugo.
Shane agrees and covertly brings Andrea back to Erinsborough. He’s hoping to warn Toadie (Ryan Moloney) before announcing her arrival, but is caught off-guard when Toadie finds them together first. And he’s furious. Yikes!
Madeleine took to Instagram to hint at the episode to come, sharing a photo with her blonde wig, and another with brunette hair.
“So ‘WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!’ Tomorrow night Hurricane Andrea hits Ramsey street!” she wrote in the caption. “She’s like an Iced Vovo sprinkled with Anthrax: Andrea looks sweet and delicious but take a bite and…um…yeah, the metaphor got a bit weird there HOWEVER! Just because Toadfish is up for a Logie this year, he might think he’s safe, but as far as Andrea is concerned that makes #toadie even more irresistible: like a fish-flavored #timtam….ok, I will stop mangling metaphors BUT ONLY IF YOU TUNE IN!”
Continuing on, Madeleine shared her congratulations to Gold Logie nominee Eve Morey.
“And for all the #sonya fans out there, let’s remember that behind every abhorrent character, there is just a weirdo in a wig. As for @evemorey …. Eve, you are one of the most compelling, gifted, dedicated actors plying their craft in Australia today. You are an exceptional Mum, and an all-round beautiful human being. You deserve all the adulation, and every accolade this country can muster. And Ryan Moloney, you are ok too…YOU UTTER LEGEND! Congratulations.”
Neighbours airs weeknights, 6.30pm, on 10 Peach.
