Natalie’s recent appearance in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! was a huge turning point for her and gave the actress some perspective on what she wanted in life.

“One of the reasons, besides the huge charity aspect, of going on the show was to ask myself: ‘What am I doing with my life? What is it that I really want?’” Nat told the Herald Sun.

Mere months after leaving the African jungle, Nat has jumped head first into the role of Gillian on The Wrong Girl.

Pastry chef Gillian, who is also the ex-girlfriend of chef Jack Winters, played by TV WEEK Logie Award winner Rob Collins, is set to stir things up in this latest season!

Could we see a love triangle develop between Gillian, Jack and Lily, Jessica Marais’ character?

“It’s kind of exciting, because I come in at a really pivotal point of Jack and Lily’s relationship, so it’s going to be a great storyline between us all,” Nat reveals.

Nat will be joining Ian Meadows, Hayley Magnus, Jessica Marais and Rob Collins on The Wrong Girl.

This role was a winner for Nat, as it meant that she could go to work and come home to her family at a reasonable hour each night.

“It will be the first time since I’ve had children that I’ll go to work and come home,” she told News Corp Australia.

“I’m normally filming in Sydney, or travelling so that’s a buzz.”

Nat’s new The Wrong Girl co-stars Jessica Marais and fellow Neighbours alum Madeleine West are also working mothers, something which made the new role all the more easier. The mum-of-two had nothing but nice things to say about her co-stars.

“Jess is just heaven and we talked about that … it’s not an easy thing,” Nat says.

“With this industry, the job could be in your home town or it could be somewhere else, but you have to make choices all the time. I feel like I’m at the happiest point in my life, that I’m making decisions that are right for me and right for my family. I’m very content at the moment.”

The actress announced her happy news on Instagram and her fellow X Factor judge Ronan Keating was the first to congratulate Nat with a heartfelt message.

“Go girl. Keep being you. Love it,” the Irish singer wrote.

Season two of The Wrong Girl will air on Network Ten and Win later this year.
