Two of My Kitchen Rules’ newest additions have said ‘I do’ in a romantic Serbian ceremony.
Drasko and Bianca have been dubbed as My Kitchen Rules’ very own beauty and the geek – and it’s easy to see why! Even on their big day, MKR’s WA gate-crashers displayed some serious hipster chic.
Bianca, who is of Burmese and Portuguese heritage, stunned in her glamorous wedding dress, while her handsome Serbian-born groom sported his trademark glasses and a bow tie.
The smitten couple – who met as journalists in Broome – made their vows in front of 50 guests at The Serbian Orthodox Church of St Sava in Perth.
Before the bride walked down the aisle to an anxious Drasko, she was treated to a show.
“In a traditional Serbian wedding, the bride is serenaded before she goes into the church, so we had two accordions out front,” explained one guest.
Bianca, 27, and Drasko, 31 might be talented but according to another guest, the pair also know their way around the dance floor.
“After the ceremony, we danced the Kolo with the bride and groom. It’s a dance of good luck.”
And the couple are on such a high, they don’t mind having to postpone their honeymoon due to MKR scheduling.
“We’re off to the Maldives soon,” smiles Bianca, adding they’re also hoping to cook a bun in the oven soon.
“I definitely want a baby!”
