After a public split with her partner, Steve “The Commando” Willis, in January last year, Celebrity Apprentice Australia star Michelle Bridges has had to field plenty of questions about her love life.
So, in an effort to set the record straight, the fitness guru took to Instagram to confirm that she’s happily single.
“I was getting asked by a lot of people, ‘Have you gone on a date yet?’ ‘Met someone?'” Michelle, 50, reveals to TV WEEK. “And the answer is nope!”

(Instagram)“I’m not someone who’s easily offended, so I find the fun and humour in it when people ask.
“But personally, I don’t feel the pressure [to have dates] because I know that the questions are coming from a good place.”
Following her relationship break-up, as well as a much-publicised drink-driving incident, Michelle traded the hustle and bustle of Sydney for the serenity of the NSW Southern Highlands.

(Instagram)And while you’d think her life in the country would be way more relaxed, the entrepreneur, businesswoman and single mum – she has a five-year-old son, Axel, with Steve – still has
plenty on her plate.
“Life for Axel and I is pretty great since moving out of the city – we needed a change,” she says. “But it’s still go, go, go: school pick-ups and drop-offs, judo, swimming and rugby…which I’m even the coach of!”
While motherhood can be demanding, Michelle wouldn’t trade it for the world.
“I’m grateful for Axel every day,” she says.
