Married at First Sight’s Christie and Mark were one of the only two couples who stayed together after the show finished in April – but now Christie’s announced that she’s split from farmer Mark amid claims he was sending saucy text messages to a woman 15 years younger than him!
The woman who claims to be 22, reveals that she swapped numbers with Mark after meeting him on a picture messaging service on Instagram!
“He was really sweet on the phone and told me he didn’t believe that a girl like me would message him. Then he asked me to go on a date with him the following weekend,” she spills to New Idea magazine.
“I was excited, because on TV he came across as such a gentleman.”
These racy messages were obtained by the mag, and Mark appears to suggest that the pair ‘hang out and cook’ after also telling her ‘younger is fine’ in the messages – in reference to their 15 year age gap.
The woman also says that she and Mark kept in contact through Facebook messaging and lengthy phone calls, before she ‘cut all contact’ after finding pictures of Mark and Christie together!

Christie has also revealed that she was ready to sell her business and move to Mark’s farm in Victoria before getting cold feet – telling Woman’s Day: “We were starting to fall in love but our heads got in front of our hearts.”
Mark also confirmed the split by confessing to the publication: “We couldn’t get into the relationship because we’d see each other once a week, but then not the next. I felt like we were holding back because we knew we’d get hurt.”
Revealing the break-up on Insta
It looked like a fairytale ending for the couple who married on the reality show late last year and had agreed to give long-distance a go – planning to spend their time between Christie’s Sydney home and Mark’s farm in Victoria. Unfortunately, distance didn’t make the heart grow fonder for these two.
Erin and Bryce are now the only couple still together from the show.
