It was only a matter of time before Michelle pulled the pin on her relationship with Jesse. And tonight was the night.
During the couple’s vow renewal ceremony, Michelle revealed she couldn’t see a future with the 30-year-old and wanted out of the experiment.
Jesse and Michelle couldn’t get out of the friend-zone.
“Of course you’re going to feel disappointed and hurt, because you want them to like you,” Jesse says of being rejected by the blonde beauty, adding he felt he gave the show his all. “I was the one who was opening up to it (the experiment) more than she was. I was the one more willing to give it a go.”
But despite the heartache, Jesse admits their breakup may have been for the best.
“I’ve had girls come up to me or even friends who I’ve known for a long time suddenly message me,” Jesse tells TV WEEK. “I honestly didn’t think that would happen so much.”
So how many dinner date requests has he had since the show went to air?
“There have been a couple,” Jesse teases. “But for obvious reasons, nothing can happen.”
