And what’s more, Christie says she’s totally open to being a mum.

Even if it means adopting solo!

“My turn will come, I’m not bothered by that [Mark’s new baby],” says a patient Christie, who’s totally content with life right now.

“That’s all he’s wanted. He just wanted a woman that was going to move to the farm and give him babies and he’s gotten that. And I’m happy for him,” she says.

Although Christie has no idea what the future holds, one thing’s for sure; children are DEFINITELY an option in the not so distant future.

“It’s on my mind,” the 39-year-old MAFS star openly admits.

“If I haven’t met someone in 12 months, it’s something I probably would do.”

Though her age doesn’t pose a problem for anything Christie sets her mind to, she admits that it does come into play when she thinks about starting a family.

Throwback to Christie’s time on Married at First Sight with Mark Hughes.

“I feel like it’s something I want to do with my partner and we have a choice and I feel like that choice is being taken away from me because of age,” she explains.

Despite her circumstances, Christie says adoption is something she’s always been passionate about, as her parents played host to many foster children when she was growing up.

“I would LOVE it. My dream always as a kid, was I want to have two and adopt two,” she shares.

“I’ve always said it since I was a little girl. I would get more satisfaction changing one person’s life that would’ve had a bad life. That, to me, is 10 times more rewarding than reproducing myself.”

Big-hearted Christie says it’s not about “being in the room” to give birth, but about making a difference. “Why bring another child in the world when there’s too many children that need help?”
