Meet the cast of HBO Max’s new romantic drama Love Life

Need a new show to get hooked on? Thank goodness Love Life has arrived.

The fresh series from HBO’s new’s subscription streaming service HBO Max is finally here – and you can watch it in Australia from 7pm on Wednesday May 27 on Stan.

Starring the hilariously loveable Anna Kendrick, the romantic comedy follows lead character Darby through her romantic trials and tribulations in New York City.

Part Sex and the City, part Girls, the show is a dangerously easy binge watch.

But aside from Kendrick, most of the cast is made up of relatively lesser known actors, some of whom you might recognise from your favourite cult TV show or movie.

ANNA KENDRICK: Darby

The Pitch Perfect star plays lead character Darby, who runs a “historically significant butts” tour. Kendrick also served as executive producer on the series.

SCOTT McNAIRY: Bradley

Bradley is Darby’s boss – he runs the company responsible for her ridiculous job. McNair has had starring roles in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Halt and Catch Fire, the critically acclaimed show about feuding tech companies in the 80’s.

ZOE CHAO: Sara

Zoe plays Sara, Darby’s best friend, roommate since college and self-appointed relationship coach. Zoe has had starring roles on The OA and the Facebook Watch series Strangers.

SASHA COMPERE: Mallory

Mallory is Darby’s outspoken roommate, who uses her dry sense of humor and bluntness to tell Darby the hard truths she sometimes needs to hear. IRL, Sasha has starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi in Miracle Workers.

PETER VACK: Jim

Jim works at political journalism website Politico and is dating Darby’s best friend Sara.
