Former Today co-host Lisa Wilkinson has dropped the biggest hint yet that her son Louis FitzSimons is set to be a contestant on the next series of Australian Ninja Warrior.
The star posted a family picture – minus son Louis FitzSimons, 22 – on Instagram.
“Family excursion… but someone is missing for a very special reason. Would love to tell you more but I’m sworn to secrecy. #WheresLouis?” The incoming Project host teased.
Earlier this year Lisa, 57, revealed she knew someone who’d applied for the hit show, which is filming now in Sydney.
“We were glued to it in our house, and I can’t say too much but somebody very, very close to me has already applied,” she said.

Confirming the news, Louis even uploaded a confirmation email revealing he’d landed a coveted spot on the show however the post has since been taken down.
Louis, who is the youngest child of Lisa and her husband, former Wallaby player-turned-author Peter FitzSimons, even made a surprise cameo on the Today Show back in 2015.
Surprising his mum, the then-19-year-old did a weather report from the snow.

“I see you’ve got the gift of the gab like your mum,” co-host Karl Stefanovic pointed out at the time.
Louis often takes to Instagram to show off his impressive physical skills and strength so he’d make a perfect fit for the show.
The second season of Ninja Warrior will air in 2018.
And Louis has his sights set on a $200, 000 cash prize if he makes it all the way to the end.
Exciting!
