Phoebe, no! Lisa Kudrow shuts down our dreams of a Friends reunion

There's no-one we miss more on our screens than Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Ross, Chandler and Joey, but it doesn't look like we'll be seeing them again anytime soon - according to Lisa, anyway...

It’s one of the most epic TV sitcoms to come out of the ’90s, which is why everyone (no, not just us) is so damn set on there being a Friends reunion.

But as much as we’ve wished for the revival of our fave, well, Friends, the show’s former star Lisa Kudrow has shut down hopes of a reunion.

^^^ Be right back, just going to crawl into a ball and cry.

Best Friends Forever – or not, according to Lisa. Sniff!

“I don’t see it happening,” Lisa – who played the hilarious Phoebe Buffay in the iconic series – told the US Today show, crushing hearts everywhere.

“It would be fun, but what would it be about? Think about it. The thing we liked best about the show was that they were twentysomethings and they were their own family. Now, they all have families, so what are we going to watch?”

Err, that plotline sounds fine to us!

Us when we heard Friends wasn’t coming back…

And while we were hoping for one of Lisa’s castmates to jump to our defence in bringing the show, which ended in 2004, back, it seems they’re on her side.

“Honestly, I don’t know what we would do,” Jennifer Aniston – AKA Rachel – said last December.

“I think that period of time was sort of nostalgic. I think why people have such an affection for it is because even though it was only 12 years ago it ended, or 13 -God, it’s getting farther and farther away – there was something about a time where our faces weren’t stuffed into cell phones.”

“We weren’t checking Facebooks and Instagrams. We were in a room together, in a coffee shop together. We were talking, having conversations. We have lost that.”

OK, fair point… but not one we’re happy with!
