It’s been five years since we watched 27-year-old bombshell, Margot, press her stiletto pump into Leo’s face and stamp her place amongst the stars in The Wolf Of Wall Street. And now reports are circling the pair have been enlisted by Quentin Tarantino for his new film.

We’ll cheers to these two teaming up again.

According to Deadline, the Pulp Fiction-esque film will be set around the Charles Manson murders in the Los Angeles summer of 1969.

Manson, who died in November last year, was responsible for the horrific murder of pregnant actor Sharon Tate, wife of director Roman Polanski, and six others, as part of a cult race war he dubbed ‘Helter Skelter.’

Margot was reportedly approached to play the role of Sharon, who was considered to be a star of the future before having her life cut brutally short by a Manson follower. Leo is reportedly portraying an ageing actor whose life intersects with the murders.

Quentin made the clear distinction to Indie Wire that the film is ‘not Charles Manson, it’s 1969.’ Suggesting the plot would centre on what we assume is Leo’s character and the era in Hollywood with the Manson murders playing out as a secondary storyline.

It’s set to be Leo’s first film since his Oscar-winning role in The Revenant, while Margot is swimming in Oscar buzz for her portrayal of Tonya Harding in I, Tonya.

The film has been picked up by Sony and is set to be released on August 9, 2019, with a few other big names (like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise) reportedly in talks about possible roles. In case we didn’t already have you at ‘Leo and Margot’…
