It looks like the world will be treated to another royal wedding – if Kim Kardashian has her way.
The reality TV star and her rapper fiance Kanye West are set to have a wedding fit for “American royalty”.
“Kim is absolutely obsessed with everything Kate and William do. She considers her own family American royalty,” a source tells UK Grazia.
Kim, 33, is even planning on wearing a dress exactly like the stunning Alexander McQueen gown Kate wore on her big day.
“Kim loves Kate’s style and while she’s planning on several gowns for her big day, she wants the one for the ceremony to look something like Kate’s dress,” the source says.
Kim and Kanye, 36, have even looked into renting their own palace – the Palace of Versailles in Paris – for their big day.
The pair, who are parents to 6-month-old North, are also considering gold thrones during their reception.
“They think it would be really cool to have gold thrones to sit on during the reception,” the source says.
“They already have a Buckingham Palace-themed room in their new home, which they’re using as inspiration.”
Meanwhile, Kim has said she isn’t so sold on the traditional wedding ceremony following her second marriage to Kris Humphries. But when asked if she and Kanye would elope over the Christmas holidays, she says, “No, not that I know of.”
“But he [Kanye] is the kind of random, spur-of-the-moment type of guy, so you never know.
“He really is the most romantic, sweetest person I’ve ever met in my entire life,” Kim says.
