While most people spend thousands on their big day, it appears Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are set to MAKE millions!
While the countdown to the pair’s wedding is well and truly underway, with the big event taking place on May 24, Kim and Kanye are preparing to rake in a fortune.
Even Kim’s recent Parisian-themed bridal shower, held at the exclusive Beverly Hills’ Peninsula hotel, made the couple money.
“Everything was paid for or sponsored by brands that wanted exposure,” a source tells In Touch, adding that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras were on hand to capture every moment. “E! picked up the rest.”
Guests were treated to a delicious menu, drinks and little goodies that included custom-made chocolate replicas of the Eifel Tower.
But the bridal shower is just the beginning of Kim and Kanye’s cashing in.
“They realized how much their wedding was costing, so they told E! they wouldn’t allow parts of it to be taped unless the network offered them more than $15 million, which is what Kim got for her wedding to Kris Humphries,” says a Kardashian insider.
“Her mum couldn’t help herself, either. Kris is trying to get them another $4 million for their wedding photos!”
So, it looks like Kim and Kanye are set to walk away with a total of $21 million.
And while Kim denied the pair are filming the wedding insisting, “we’ve decided to keep this close to our hearts,” the pair don’t appear to feel the same way about events leading up to their big day.
The source says the couple are allowing TV cameras to capture “everything leading up to and after” their wedding, cashing them up in the meantime.
“She’s taping everything else so she can get things for free in exchange for the exposure,” the source said.
