Jessie J explains the reason behind the body double filming ‘The Voice Australia’ promo while she was out of the country.
Voice Australia judge, Jessie J had onlookers scratching their heads after her body double was spotted filming a promo for the show in Sydney.
Rumours began circulating that the award-winning singer skipped out of her filming duties for her concerts in Singapore and Jakarta.
Jessie J slammed any accusations about not meeting her Voice Australia commitments, taking to Instagram to explain.
“I was on set for this advert for 18 hours with the rest of the coaches the day before these shots with my body double were shot.
“Delta, Ricky, Benji and Joel ALL have body doubles in the same advert for reasons I can’t disclose, and were all shot on the same day.
“And when you see the advert you will see WHY and understand why we ALL have body doubles. I didn’t not do the advert and I didn’t go on tour and leave a day early according to the press.” She told her 3 million followers on the social media site.
“I left at 6am the next day exhausted to fly straight to Singapore to start a 14 day tour with 10 shows and I land back in Sydney on the day of the next Voice commitment.
“Sometimes a pat on the back is nicer and needed way more than a kick in the face.. You know?” Jessie J added.
Three days prior the singer shared a video in an identical outfit to her body double.
Jessie didn’t let the negativity get her down and continued her Singapore and Jakarta concerts without a hitch.

But on closer inspection it is Jessie J’s body double filming her “The Voice Australia” promo.
We’re not too sure what the new Voice judge is up to… but she did share a video in the same outfit just days prior to the double being spotted!
Jessie J quashed any rumours on her personal Instagram account, that she was trying avoid her film commitments to the talent show in place of her concert in Asia.
The singer didn’t let any of the negativity get her down, rocking it at her Singapore and Jakarta concert!
